He also alleged last week that central agencies are being misused to “destabilize the state government”. His letter to the PM comes at a time when CM Ravindran, Additional Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, was summoned before the Enforcement Directorate in this matter.

What is gold smuggling case

The gold smuggling case in Kerala came to headlines on 05th July this year during a search due to a tip off of a diplomatic baggage from Dubai by the Indian customs department at Thiruvananthapuram Airport.

Of these, Suresh and Sarit are former employees of the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
